Forsaking the systematic rows of carefully-paired stones found on normal diamond watches, the Reverso Neva ($41,700)
by Jaeger-LeCoulture weaves a more natural pattern from stones of
different sizes. Implementing a technique known as “snowflaking,” a creation of master gem setter Alain Kirchhof,
the watch becomes a work of art meant more for a display case than a wrist. Up to 500 diamonds are used, making
each timepiece truly unique. The watches are impossible to duplicate and will guarantee that the guy sitting next
to you on the train won’t have the same watch.
